PT. Pelayaran Nasional BINA BUANA RAYA Tbk, or BBR in short, is a reputable shipping company which aspires to be the leading provider of marine, logistic and offshore services in rapidly growing Indonesia.
Established in 1998 and listed on IDX since January 2013, BBR is today principally engaged in the provision of chartering services via the deployment of its fleet of offshore support vessels as well as tugboats and barges.
Riding on the booming offshore oil and gas exploration, development and production activities in Indonesia, BBR expanded into the offshore marine business since December 2010. Its fleet of offshore support vessels currently consists of Anchor Handling Tug and Supply vessels, or AHTSs in short.
Being versatile and powerful vessels equipped with enhanced bollard pull, AHTSs are mainly deployed to tow oil rigs and other less mobile largee vessels and anchor them to precise locations and occasionally also serve as Emergency Rescue and Recovery Vessels.

Established incorporated in 1998 in the Free-trade Zone of Bintan, Riau Province, Indonesia, PT Pelayaran Nasional Bina Buana Raya (BBR) started its operations as a shipping agency company
With respect to Indonesia's Cabotage Principle, domestic sea-borne transportation of various key specified categories of goods such as coal, granite, sand, and more commodities in general is to be undertaken by Indonesian-flagged vessels.
BBR currently owns an impressive fleet of young and efficient tugboats and barges, and offshore vessels to cater to these marine logisitics needs.
Coupled with the growth of Indonesia and other regional countries, the demand for BBR's services has increased which provided the impetus for growth that the Company has experienced over the past few years.
